We are Yi and Li, met during our master's program in product design in Norway. We found that not only do we have a shared passion and taste for design, but also a mutual love for puffed rice.
YILI in Chinese means a grain (of rice). The beauty and simplicity of rice inspire our brand and reflect the sense of uniqueness of our creations. Founded by two like-minded and creative souls, YILI is an Oslo based Design Studio. We firmly believe that each rice grain is simple yet unique, just like our ordinary every day.
YILI is dedicated to uncovering the beauty in ordinary things. Through minimalist and warm design, we aim to transform what is often overlooked into expressions of love and connection. Starting from a grain of rice, let’s enjoy everyday aesthetics.
